I began my Network career with an Online Conference room. Through the years I have learned how to develop lasting relationships using this tool. By being available through direct contact where we can talk to each other and demo things we are talking about has given me an advantage that many Networkers just don’t have. I can’t imagine working online without the benefit of a Conference Room.
I am part of a group called the GreatEscapeTeam and we have a conference room that we keep open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm Eastern. By being part of a group we can accomplish this feat without any one person being subjected to sitting at their computer hour after hour. Very seldom does someone enter our room and not be greeted by someone.
Again this gives us an advantage that many Online Networkers just don’t have.
We can speak with our visitors, as we “push” information to them, and then take them right through a training process if that is what the agenda is when they enter the room. Team members can bring up their websites so that they can share their information with us and explain through visual what they are interested in. This brings connectivity between the team and our visitors.
Our team can offer live support to those who are having trouble understanding things that we are involved in together, anywhere in the world, without anyone having to place a long distance call ever again? This brings a confidence level that you could never attain with the telephone.
We can train our contacts on a personal level, using real time audio and visual aids without ever paying for expensive teleconference bridges. Our visitors can learn about us and what we do without subjecting themselves to unwanted calls.
In our online conference room we can record our entire presentation and upload it for online viewing and listening within seconds after our web training ends? We can do presentations, store them and any of the moderators can use them at anytime without having to redevelop the presentation. This one tool saves hours and hours of time.
